IMPERIALS AND TEACUPS INFORMATION
Due to the small size of the Imperials and Teacup sizes they will have to be here longer than standard size puppies due to their size. Teacups and Imperials require EXTRA care & supervision, they must be feed several times a day and kept warm at all times ,this means when you take any( puppie) home you must do the same things to keep it happy and healthy. Here are a few tips to keep your eye on when you take your puppie or any puppie home regardless of SIZE.Keep puppy warm and feed lots of water puppies need food & water 24x7, keep Nutra-Cal on hand this provides more vitamins & sugar & helps prevent a sugar low.Pediolyte used as drinking water will keep puppy well hydrated as well as help with diarrhea. IF you notice your puppies have loose stools or mucus or tiny spots of blood go to your vet as soon as possible and get a bottle of albon and panacur used together they will stop diarrhea and parasites.Great care is exercised to prevent or eliminate parasites such as worms(roundworms, hookworms ,tapeworms, coccidian, giardia, however ,since these are quite common among animals we cannot guarantee any animal to be totally parasite free. All my adults are given their worming once a month every month ,their vaccines are all up to date (yearly).Care has been taken to give to all the puppies, their first shots and worming, it is the buyers responsibility to see the ongoing of shots, worming and love.I use albon and panacur on all of the puppies, but extra care should always be given to watch out for any signs of a new breakout..Hypoglycemia or low blood sugar is common problem with all Toy breeds, which is a condition in which there is a drastic, sudden drop in the level of blood sugar in the puppy. As a pet owner it is imporant to recognize the symptoms of hypoglycemia and know how to prevent it. VERY IMPORTANT if your new puppy is not eating buyers should SYRINGE feed their newpups 3 to 4 times a day approximately 5cc per feeding 15 to 20 cc total per day Gerbers chicken baby food mixed with waffle syrup for the first 10 to 14 days after receiving their new pup and they will never have a sick pup1cc of waffle syrupper small jar of chicken meat baby food.Draw the baby food up into the syringe and disperse into puppies mouth .Karo syrup or Nutri-cal on the roof of their mouths a few times a day works wonders! But when you suspect your puppy is not doing well or eating well call your vet immediately. Thank you
